Just to give an example of how the WAP5H locos were marked, please check the attached video.
At the 25 second mark, you can see a tiny WAP-5H mark stenciled below the door to the loco pilot's cab and you can see that there is no other large marking anywhere else. It is quite easy to miss unless someone takes a close-up shot.
