What if the train does 110/130 kmph on multiple stretches ? E.g. 12306 does 130 kmph between NDLS-DDU and ASN-HWH. So what stretch should be updated ?

I don't make rules of my own but in the above mentioned cases had I been to authorise I would have simply told to mention the longest stretch where the train attains mps. Moral point is mps is not at all useful info for general public nd creating controversy from these small things is not good. I hope the above mentioned case will also be discussed and a normal solution would arrive.

The best option to avoid controversy is to leave these things as it is. If this rule is implemented, then for every future MPS updates, some member will definitely raise his/her objection after a certain period of time.
