This Update Seems To Be Wrong, Imperial Mail Was Weekly Luxury Service That Was Part Of London-Rangoon Travel System Whereas Calcutta/Bombay Mail Was Daily Service. Imperial Mail Was Discontinued During World War-1 And It Never Ran Again.
Its a popular name which doesn't mean this train was Imperial Indian Mail. Bombay-Calcutta Route was classified as Imperial importance (Imperial Army can easily be shipped and then take this route to reach Northern India & Burma to address insurgency!!
