I reopen it coz its linked to Mr. Babai/Somanko who with Mr. Azhar void this correct TL. /blog/post/5385038 /blog/post/5385038 (replied to deleted post by Mr. Azhar who cited pre-independence TT of Darjeeling Mail for void)
I can easily mark 1 April 1961 (Darjeeling Mail revived via other route) or 1 April 1964 (complete BG via Farakka Ferry) but choose correct 26 Jan 1950 when Assam Link launched & transformed to North Bengal & then Darjeeling Mail (after 1/2 Darjeeling Mail run was disrupted as Sealdah-Haldibari route gone to Bangladesh since 1947)!
