SWR has pranked the people of Karnataka.

Develop Bantwal (BC Road) as a terminal for all SWR trains from Hassan side. No hope from SR PGT to Mangalore, as they are busy in adding dozen trains to Kerala and use the stations for dumping their trains.
SWR and KR together should explore a link from Bantwal to Suratkal/ Mulki avoiding SR area completely. Some 30 kms line via Mangalore airport will be much useful.

Bijapur Kankanadi special exp arrives Hubballi Jn with a delay of 43 minutes, hauled Kalyan WDG 3A 14647. Post reversal it was hauled by Hubli WDP 4 20009 that day.

Why is not being converted to a permanent train with more coaches?
For special train they can collect 1.3 X fare , if regularised they will they have to run with normal fares and the fare of Sleeper and General recover 50% of operational costs. So without hike in fare they will run special trains and they are atleast 30 trains all over India running as spls from last 2 yrs apart from other spls announced time to time.
