Why have they stopped manufacturing? And what loco are they manufacturing instead?
Mostly goods loco WAG9. Especially for DFCs. Since last few months very very few WAP7s have been rolled out.
I suppose they are aiming at T18s to replace premium Rajdhani and Shatabdi Express in next few years and locos will be freed which can be utilised till end of codal life
WAP-7 coming regularly with this train even thought they replaced SLR with EOG.

I think one more AC coach could be added to this train. At one point, this train was to Deccan Queen what August Kranti is to Mumbai Rajdhani !
