Railfan_SRDiv^~ 2534 blog postsThis train could be permanently diverted via Titlagarh, Sambalpur Junc, Jharsuguda Road, Raigarh, Champa Junc, Bilaspur, Anupur, Katni Murwara, Bina Malkhedi and proceed to NZM via mathura . This would be shorter and faster route compared to the present NGP route. Railways should consider changing this. Any railfan opinion on this is welcome . Thank you

Not possible. Sole connectivity for vzm - tig - raipur section public towards bhopal, itarasi, and northwards up to delhi for decades now.
For VsKP, sbp-bina, angul people Hirakud is already there whose frequency increase should be considered if NCR and NR can arrange a independent slot.

Well, how about via Raipur , ulaspur, katni ? That would be more faster . NGP to del already have plenty of trains
In that case, again connectivity of itarasi- bhopal with vzm -raipur section halts will break.
For train like Samta or for any train having halt in every 50 km in a particular section, its always hard to divert when its a sole connectivity; even if the alternate one is a faster route for end to end travelers. Public protests in these cases. But, maybe if ECoR does this forcefully due to any political pressure then thats another dimension of debate.

There is a demand to make Samatha daily from Vskp Dovision from many years and put on paper they can introduce those 2 days in Raipur Ulsalpur Katni route with common TT from Bina to HNZM and delayed dep at Vskp. The present route is 1917km while this shortest route is 1767km.
Correct that should work well. Thought Samata is a daily train never knew its non daily .
