SWR has to give priority because being single line section in HVR UBL, if this train is not taken before 10.15pm, then it will act as bottleneck for all trains departing UBL after 10pm towards SBC.
For ensuring no incoming trains at UBL after 10.15 pm, this arrangement is made so that KSK, RC, GG, BGM can have smooth run upto HVR

One issue is, Platform availability at UBL, between 9.30 to 11.00 pm now UBL will be jam packed from all 3 sides. Trains left right centre will enter UBL .
It will now depend on controlling of UBL section, how they handle this mess.

Also I hope this train is given LHB rake soon. Because literally the rake is not what it once used to be.

Where is PM/ maintenance done for this train? VSG or YPR?
With TT, I feel it is at VSG. Arrives YPR at 1240 and leaves by 1500. So, SWR doesn't want this to arrive early at YPR. Am I right?

Previously when it was biweekly it was at VSG. Now based on the TT it looks like PM is at VSG.

No, Arsikere-Chikkajajuru is already sanctioned 110Kmph many months back. Yella trains illi 110 nalli hogthaive ivaga.
There is no official notification n I've travelled in KSK in October even then the trains were doing just 100.
