In the last 1 decade lo, by what rate/% has essential goods of different categories like - milk, vegetables, fuel etc have increased and by what rate /% passenger rail fare has increased ?

to the Politics. Due to the diplmacy, they have never touched base pass rail fare..

Atleast IR have resorted to other steps such as Special fare specials, Premium specials, dynamic pricing, increase in cancellation fee to mitigate the losses incurred due to the policy effect of not increasing fare,

I do Agree .. Railways is not and should nt be a profit making org,

But at the same time, where will the unending losses be met from ?

Coming to present situation, Railways were comlpetely shut down like nearly 3-4 months and later started running few specials.. but they have been incurring expences like infra, maintanence & staff salary all d while...
from where would they meet all dese expences ?
