Meanwhile, more buses gonna hit the road at night and folks gonna start using 'em. Train enthusiasts gonna be all up in arms blaming the bus operators, but it's actually the railways who's slacking by not launching new overnight routes.
So, with the new terminal at SMVT now up and running, in the east of Bangalore, serving IT peeps and locals in the area, SWR better get on it with introducing these triweekly routes with a single train each:
1. SMVT to Hubli via Belgavi
2. SMVT to Raichur, Gulbarga, Bidar
3. SMVT to Bijapur
4. Cut down the Mangalore to Bangalore trip to just 9 hours, with Mangalore as the base.
