Is there any possibility that a ICF 17 coaches train can run upto 120 mps. Because few days back i was onboard 04021 Sainik Express. And that was constantly running at 120 mps btwn DEE-RE. I am so confuses 🙄🙄
Maybe, but the train wasn't given slack between the two stations and it started 1 hr late and reached the next station exactly 40 minutes late. That's why I thought that overspeeding would have been allowed to the LP by officials to recover delay.
ICF EOG will, there is not much difference (apart from suspension, bogies and coupler/buffer) between them and LHB coaches SG coaches gave far too many moving parts for that to happen for long time. Some years back IR had experimented with SG LHB coaches, an experiment which failed spectacularly as there were frequent breakages of Coupling shift fir generator underneath the coach, and this was happening at 110 kmph!!
