The train is unable to keep up with schedule admist the amount of halt politics has laden over it .. it has just become another Gomti now..
Correct, Just one station left unstopped Khurja Jn: and then will become duplicate Gomti..
Other countries speed up their trains, meanwhile in India, we slow down our premier trains. Why they added Phaphund as an stoppage, God knows.
What was it's original halt schedule when it was introduced? I know that it had it's engine changed to diesel loco at CNB, I think back in the day.
i have traveled in this train during late 90s .
Flat 6 hours 15 mins to LKO with a 10 min stop at Kanpur . ASR shatabdis use to take 5.5 hours rolling the terrain at 110 kmph..
