If the CC is reversing every alternate day, I think it may have Rake Sharing Arrangement with Madgaon Vande Bharat Express. Please provide your inputs so that we may update the accurate data on IRI.

RSA with MAO VB cannot be executed alternately as off-days are different for both VBs and also both the rakes are not in Mumbai at the same time on commercial run days. It can happen over weekly basis until the maintenance facility comes up in Jalna.
Thanks, the rakes not being in Mumbai at the same time makes sense for this RSA not to happen.
We may have to track the CC for a week or so to understand if the reversed CC is happening every alternate day. We may then add that reverse CC in rake notes

I was onboard 22230 on 5th Feb'24. Had a chat with technician onboard. He informed me that 2 different rakes are being used from CSMT end. No RSA with MAO VB

For the sake of improvement ..
People traveling in this train should file daily complaints and question authorities about the premium they are charging in the name of VB.
This train is slower than atleast 15 other normal mail express services on the same route between CSTM-NK.

Also, is Jalna a big enough place to warrant a VB? A Jan Shatabdi runs through to it; do enough folks use the current VB for end to end stuff?
I doubt about J , but indeed Nanded and Aurangabad both warrant VB connection to Mumbai .. adding MMR & NK to this cocktail should have made a good cocktail for successful VB operation..
This VB is mainly catering Aurangabad/Sambhajinagar and Nashik. 70-80% paxs from/for Aurangabad
Right now MMR-AWB- J speed limit is 95-100 kmph. VB is running at 100

its a very stupidly planned VB .. they have not done there homework before launching this train ...
it can be speeded up by 30 mins -1 hour in both the direction .. it is reaching most of the station early ! beyond NK...

Today Jalna to Mumbai occupancy is good thanks to timings from Aurangabad to Mumbai dep 600 arrival 1200.

Yes, that is what railway activists are demanding from day 1. Departure from CSTM should be after 1500 hRs and can easily be speeded up by 1 hr
