Extending to GUV is fine, but who is going to maintain the train in that case ?? GUV cannot maintain VB
IMO, better the route can be swapped between Uday and VB. Uday can maintain its present running time easily via DPJ HSRA, and it will fetch better patronage also enroute, as it already has. VB at the other end, can be made to run via ED SA TPT BWT KJM, making it faster than it is actually, and if it takes 5 - 5.5 hrs max, it will be a good deal for sure, and the patronage also improves a lot for vande bharat, being a faster option.
Well.. sooner or later GUV will have to maintain VB sets....
For now, this VB can run for 5 days a week between GUV and BNC and weekly between CBE BNC till PM facility is created at GUV.

Very much possible but care should be taken to ensure convenient travel time to passengers.
Yes that too should be ensured. A slot later than the slot of CBE MAS ICE could be chosen, after that, till the departure of mayiladuthurai JS, slot is available I believe.

It will likely get extended to Ernakulam only if its with SWR ; if its with SR SA division , its likely it cant be extended until or unless they can PM - And SA div wont agree to give it to TVC div
I agree with this. SWR might not agree due to single section gradient. Now its electrified double , SR trains could be extended inside KA. We definitely need train from Miraj to Kerala via Belagavi
Those days 11013 ran with an extra rake. 11013 used to arrive at 6:40am ( same time as now) and be stationed at CBE for almost 24 hrs. It used to leave at 5am next day. So even if train arrived late, it meant that there was lot of time available and it would still depart from CBE on time. Number of trains were much lesser so CBE did have space to park the train. I think sometimes it was also shunted and stabled at PTJ as well. To save one rake, they have now changed its time
MAQ-MAO can be extended to UBL ! it will surely be hit..
meanwhile .. TT of BNC VB should be reduced to 5.5 hours.. then an extesion .. Prashanti Niyalayam can be tried ...

Thats so bad. Present standing time is horrible. I think it stands less than 2 hours now at CBE lol.

No. Booking has not stopped. I can see the reservation is open both ways from Feb 2nd. Its a week off for VB on Feb 1st.
are there any chances of improvement in the TT for this train ?
They should do it maybe after the HSRA-BNC doubling is completed.

Uday should leave CBE at 06:00 AM , to arrive SA at 08:20 AM and dep SA at 08:25 to reach Dharmapuri at 09:30 AM and Hosur at 11:00 AM and to arrive SBC at 12:30 PM (06 hr 30 minutes) - they should conduct trial and facilitate this . Stoppages are CBE, TUP, ED, SA, Dharmapuri, Hosur, Karmelaram, BNC, SBC - with standing time at SBC for 1 hour before it starts its journey

Uday Express 2S runs housefull everyday, ik an unfair comparison but still
Uday taking only 25 minutes more and the fare of 2S and VB has huge difference. It's difficult to change mindset of people to spend more for just few minutes.
It's not about mindset but the spending capacity of the individual, 600 travellers travel in GS sitting with fare of Rs 200 approx while 400 travel in ACC with fare Of Rs 600 in Uday and 280 are travelling in VB with fare I'd Rs 1000. The traveller who is ready to spend rs 600-900 I'd travelling by bus during night to attend to office in morning. If IR runs a dedicated train in night then it will have demand to fill 10 AC coaches and all 700 travellers in AC will be from Coimbatore itself while in day train is being shared with Tiruppur Erode and Salem.
They should have run Amrit Bharat Express in night, instead of this useless VB and like fools they are running VB on SA-DPJ-HSRA-BNC route with 80KMPH MPS
they should increase the speed and travel of the train .. plus run it from BNC in the morning or late departure from CBE would great..
