KrishMV~ 7493 blog postsi was travelled in this train on last monday, also observed the MPS increase in vm-kpd line,this train just covered 68kms between VM-TNM in 1 hr and 25 mins departed 16.35 at VM and arrived TNM at 18.00 pm sharply, the entire run was superb, it ran like an express train all coaches were decently crowded i'd thought how important this train for students, employees working in govt,vendors....

yes ji, after electrification SR planned to increase MPS upto 110kmph, but as of npw i am satisfied with the speed the way GOC WDM 2 pulls just awesome for an passenger train, pamani regularly covering this distance in 70 mins, 17414 covering in 68 mins ji.....
Yes... It was very useful/important for everybody... VM-KPD section deserves more trains...
i guess after electrification at least 20 trains will run daily.....
In the future these trains r possible in the VM-KPD stretch fm Bangalore:Puducherry-Bangalore ICE, Villupuram-Bangalore Passenger...
this one also Bangalore-Mailaduthurai/Cuddalore for Delta people....
Among the three pairs of passengers this train is running ontime daily at many stations,it maintains gud speed through out entire journey the running status proves how accurate it is running close to its schedule....
Agreed Krish... Thanks to Railways for increasing MPS in VM-KPD section...... Superfast/Express trains covering within 2.30 mins to 2.45 mins respectively...
Superfast trains covering 150 kms between VM-VLR in 2.30 mins and Mail Express trains covering this in 2.45 mins..... Good patronage in VM-KPD section... This section deserves more trains...
Only worry is the slack time. In next TT definitely it will be reduced and Revised TT will be released. Electrification works in VM-VLR section has been completed and energized now...
yes slack is the worry as of now, meenakshi exp has more slack time, it reaches TNM by 17.25-17.30 and depart at 17.55 or if xing occurs it will depart around 18.10 SR should revise the TT or reduce the slack time for meenakshi exp which runs more than 700kms....
yeah i verified with NETS, it shows 22604,17408.17414 is the fastest between VM-KPD line compared to 11006,16780....
