yes definitely RSA need to be removed and should be made as a daily express...this train is running in mid-week even then it has gud patronage...almost every week it goes full..also it has 13 SL which gets full for a mid-week.....if it is made daily then there is no doubt about its patronage...
actually railway board announced this weekly to start on SAT from CBE and SUN from RMM...but suddenly they changed the days of operation....
This train should be extended to ERS via SRR. It will be a great connection from Kerala to Rameshwaram..
instead a new train via ERS-ALLP-QLN-TVC-NCJ-TEN-VPT-APK-MNM-RMM route would be better providing connectivity for south KL with RMM.
Similarly MAQ-CAN-CLT-SRR-PGT-CBE-ED-KRR-DG-MDU-MNM-RMM is needed for north KL because many devotees come to RMM from Kerala and this train can connect MDU with North KL.

This train is running in mid week.even then it has great demand and good patronage.but Sr wont make this train as daily service I guess.once poy-ptj gc is over the old cbe-rmm exp will be restored

But SR don even consider for naming RMM bound trains.....They will name the trains which has political support!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :P
ya....all these trains are having unofficial name oly..In stations they are announced by these names oly..but in IR site it is missing..

It will not be diverted, instant a daily express train via MDU will resume [ie, the old MG/British era train]

JayaRaj Sir, as usual, fantastic walk through the inaugural run of the long-awaited CBE-RMM. Lovely nameboard with Marudhamalai setting and yourself on the loco, simply great. Nice to see SR also starting to decorate, seems to have been a a gala opening. Fortunately, no politics here. Thanks for notifying me personally of the post. If not for your notification, I would have missed it.
