Today was a special RFanning session meeting few SWR RFans (Jainam and Harsh_12627) at Yelahanka Jn and got a chance to witness the newly launched KLBG SMVT VB (both saffron-grey and blue-white**) along with few express trains like Kondaveedu Express, Prashanthi Express and few more trains... do have a look....👍👍👍

Yes. But there may be platform constraints at YPR.
Another thing is YPR loves to keep trains on its platforms longer. (For example Chalukya halts for 2 hours).
SMVB is odd place. Not at all convenient for commuting to city.

Chalukya and all reversals will be history in coming days.Notification is out there days at YPR are numbered
It will be shifted to BNC in coming days but I think YPR will be better in trains of Yelahanka side
Chalukya reversal avoiding gives zero benefit for travellers crossing Bangalore. Instead of waiting at YPR platforms, the train will wait at some odd village side stations. Zero TT change done for Chalukya
Saw two city buses outside SMVB platform 1 side entrance when I was onboard TJ UBL special that reached SMVB at 0430 hrs.. not sure of the route number. Everyone went and boarded that.

For no reason ! it is one of the slowest VB on IR network ! very poor planning it seems !
Easy TT with 730hrs or atmost 8hrs... and ideal dept from KLBG at 6am....👍👍
Raichur to Kalburgi 148km 2hrs 74kmph avg can reach by 2245 and speedup by 45mins. Great grandfathers sitting in IR and making TT.
Any chances of extending to SUR for better patronisation and revised timings at KLBG ?

Comparing to other trains plying in this route, this is not making much difference with the others, which is taking 30 - 60 mts more than this one, in a much convenient timings (11312 takes 9h10m for YPR KLBG). considering the MPS in GTL - WADI, and that most of the route is already doubled, a speed of 45 mts - 1 hr would make much more sense and would definitely create an impact among the travellers, making the departure and arrival timings convenient as well.
It's just the beginning... just need to wait and find out... not everything starts with a bang my friend... let's just wait for few days or maybe weeks... meanwhile this will attract ppl and then give them a chance to travel... 👍👍

My point is it should make an impact w.r.t travel time and timings. For a distance of 548 kms, in which 506 kms is double line and 229 kms having an MPS of 130, travel time could be very much reduced making an impact among the other existing trains. And hoping this to happen in the future.

But I don't get this... having 130kmph in, I think, half the section or more or less, it should have been done in 8hrs... why that extra 45mins?? If not 8hrs atleast 745hrs... why that extra 1hr added??? 🤔🤔
