Blogs of 12 & 13 December Pending. My dad's blogs of 13 December onward till date also pending. We had some internet probs. Now I am posting blogs of 12th December. Exams are in Jan End. Finals in early April. So no tension of exams.

No official info on RSA.
But running a day time is bad strategy of CR,agree it starts from SCR but due to CR schedule only SCR has agreed to depart early in mrng from Bidar to LTT

Yeh Loco kya BIO Diesel mein chalta hai?
If NOT, then it's Pollution.
Don't know why running with diesel in Electrified Section when we have 5000+ electric loco in the Loco Bank of IR.

One of the major reason is platform availability and time constraints at pune jn due to which many south bound trains from mumbai get diesel locos. It avoids loco change at pune. Perhaps may be once electrification of pune daund section gets completed it might get eloco.
Sir...i have same concern....IR running diesel loco in electrified section in many part of india like asr/jat to sre, asr shc garibrath in asr-ndls etc....

Even if it is running on bio-diesel, it causes similar amounts of pollution as normal diesel locos. Not much difference on that front. Also all bio-diesel locos in IR run on a mixture of diesel land bio diesel, usually 95% or 80% diesel and 5% or 20% Bio diesel. Pollution levels are not really different. Use of bio-diesel is mainly to reduce diesel ( non-renewable resource) consumption.

What is the reason for the terrible 3.5 hrs slack between BHLK and BIDR - 38 kms..
Beauty of IR time table..
16528 have two hours for 15 KM BAND-YPR. 11022 sleeps almost three hours at YPR, 16518 - 2 hrs at MAQ........ list goes on...

With that kind of slack, one can as well get off at some station in the city, take a cab or something and eat something nice, and come back safely to the train..bad planning by IR..
Yes happening, especially who knows about the slack is getting down and continuing their journey through other means..
