The one thing that piqued my interest of this train when I spotted it at LKO was it's coach composition. It has 1.5 H1 coaches. Not even Lucknow Mail runs with more than a single full AC coach. I wonder if a better coach composition would be 2 AC 2 Tier and 1 AC First.
when it was launched by ex rail minister manoj sinha who was from gazipur so it was the best train for us so we use to travel in this only so everything was booked and packed including first AC also, now a days it has become just any regular train so people started to avoid it, very delayed poor cleaning its like railway started to just ignore it.

Railfanning at Anand Vihar terminus yesterday. Came to see off my mother. After a very very long wait got a chance to click jharkhand swarnajayanti express and it was my first time with 12874 instead of 12818. Touchwood, the train maintained excellent punctuality throughout, a very positive and welcome change.
