Go to PRS counter, fill a form and thats it. But it is to done 24 hrs before the scheduled departure of the train.

we r 11 members to go by this train, 4 members from samalkot, 7 members from rajahmundry.now all the berths in order.if i change the boardig station the berth numbers are same or not.

Berth Nos remain same in most probability. Only you ensure that you reach your berth before TTE allots to others in your absence.

Changing boarding point is your right within frame work of IR rules, and your confirmed tickets will remain a confirmed, so do not worry. Only thing you take care that, while changing the boarding point confirm with ticket issueing clerk at window about your latest berth nos/coach nos. SO that you find your coach easily when train arrives. Also when you board the train , get your berth/coach no. verified with PRS counter clerk.

Any changes done officially are recorded in DATA base of IR and your tickets are secured.

Actually it may go SNSI ...i have checked the other train...its given 5 min stoppage at manmad. So detaching these coaches in 5 min is difficult. But as per blogger tickets issuing upto Manmad...so from manmad to SNSI he has to purchase another ticket.
