Given the complexity of New Jalpaiguri Station & unavailability of PF's it's a better decision to run 12344 as a single train from New Jalpaiguri instead of combined trains..because that attachment & bifurcation @ NJP is a tedious process & if possible should be avoided...anyhow passengers who wish to board 12344 from HDB & JPG can easily arrive by the passenger train @18:40...I support KIR division in terms of this decision

I think due to the dead much no of elephants , SGUJ - APDJ sec have to opearte only passenger & DEMU services . .
No exp train runs in this route except intercity exp..

But EXP trains as well as killer Goods trains are running in this sector in night Hrs also....recently I travelled in 15484(obeyed speed restriction strictly) & 15612(obeyed speed restriction in only initial 57 km)..in b/w crossings of numerous Freights..So I think NFR is now cool & relaxed to run freights in this sector....also spotted Poorvottar Sampark Kranti twice in last few days near Damanpur which actually killed the Elephant
