But as 12695 takes a longer route via Kottayam and 16356 takes the shorter Alappuzha route, both trains reached Kayankulam at the same time, and this overtake happened as scheduled.

Haha..........chain pulling may have lead to the desired result. Hope the minister shows same interest with regard to starting of the YPR-KCVL train which is pending for the last 3 years
