Just one more rake is needed to make it a daily train. Is is such an ardent task for SR to arrange for a rake ?

Currently KPD is the only place which is affected, it can be compensated once RMM TPTY or MAS NCJ frequency is increased.

Re# 5605959-9
MSB has 10 platforms altogether as per IRI. 1,2,3 are terminals exclusive for TBM bound trains. 9 and 10 if we consider for MRTS, they still have 4,5,6,7 and 8. I believe one platform can be earmarked for MSB terminating express trains.
Some time back even the MS-PDY express was running as MSB-PDY express.
Its just thoughts. Practical difficulty we don't know.

Actually the lines in MRTS section are double discharge platforms i.e. platforms on either sides of the train. Platforms 6&7 , 8&9 in this case. Which means if a train is stationed at PF6, it essentially occupies PF 7 as well. This is the same case for 8&9 too.
PF 1,2,3 are occupied by TBM/CGL/CJ trains.
PF 4 occupied mostly by TRL bound trains and TBM/CGL/CJ trains sometimes.
PF
...
5 occupied by TRL bound train.
PF 6&7, 8&9, 10 for MRTS.
Among all the platforms, only 4and 5 can handle lengthier rakes but unfortunately they don't have watering pipe facilities.
.
Unless Chennai get's a full pledged new terminal, the woes are bound to continue.

I am saw levelling work in TBM beyond platform 8. I hope they put in 2 more platforms and increase the stabling and maintenance capacity of TBM.
