This train can ideally extended to SRE easily. May be till HW with some adjustments. but NR is busy in non sense things like always
i think no need of extension, already there is an intercity between RKSH/HW - SGNR
yes, can be extended but for that timings will have to be changed, means lots of adjustments at the end stations which itself is a painful.
extension to SRE need no time change,there is always good traffic between SRE & UMB

Passengers ofcourse....hamaara hi dimaag kharrab hai....jo railways k peeche bhaagte rahte hain...I hate IR. Today also I am suffering at the hands of this latelatifi of IR. SGNR-UMB intercity 14526 still has not reached Patiala.
