Intercity takes 4 hrs nearly to reach Tata and by Bus you can reach in an average time of 2-2:30 hrs. By bus also somewhat less heavy on the pockets.

Ranchi Khadgara bus stand to Mango Bus stand fare in AC bus is Rs 350. If you are a single person travelling, 15 Rs for share auto to Sakchi and 20 Rs to Station. Total 385. Hardly will take more than 3:15 to 3:30 hrs

Railway was never a viable option between Ranchi and Jamshedpur. Nowadays, BNR section commuters are shifting their daily mode to buses. Think about the punctuality of all stop passenger trains! 🙂
Ranchi passengers will never think to travel in 22892 to go to Kharagpur or Kolkata.

Don't know when Muri bypass will be on tracks so that trains from Tata could easily go to Ranchi. On papers it seems so nice seeing the deadlines but in reality when the work will start is something which is concerning.
