16823 Ananthapuri TEN arrival time has revised from 06.45 am to 06. 30 am
12631 Nellai TEN official arrival time also 06:30 am how it possible two trains arrive at same time .
I hope 12631 unofficially may arrive TEN early. but SR has to officially update the arrival time of Nellai.

Yes more people using sky recently both nationally and internationally. Looks like sky travel became more popular now compared to 1990s.
yes at certain cases Railways is looting people specially in the name of Premium Tatkal.
Even if you try to book for a mere 20 km the 3A charge will be 500 Rs. Covid was an opportunity for railway to remove all the subsidies and even after covid they didn't revert the changes that were made.

In SWR, there is a Yeshwantpur Jaipur Suvidha 82653/4. Fare between YPR TO JP is 5265 for 3A and 7520 for 2A. Whereas in another Normal SF train, it is just 2205 and 3200.
Please note this is 41 hour journey.

The traveller from Benguluru to Jaipur durect will fly and not waste 41hours. The ones who travel to intermediate stations lijw Surat Vadodara a d in RJ between Ahmd and Ajmer will travel by train No matter what is the fare. Even places in karnataka like bellary Hospet Raichur Solapur will contribute to some extent as there are no alternate daily connection or other mode of transport

The timings mostly will be adjusted for any one train, and they can get shunted to the yard. Maybe for that reason Ananthapuri has given almost a 2 hr run from TVC-QLN.
Does this mean for travel from Chennai Egmore(MS) to Tirunelveli(TEN) Ananthapuri express will be faster than Nellai express even though Nellai is a Superfast Express….
Can be.. As Ananthapuri is a pass through train, slack should be reduced at TEN and given post TVC.. But since Nellai is terminating train, slack is given at TEN.
Mostly Nellai time will get advance for 15 to 20 mnts. Already unofficially 12631 reaching TEN before 15 to 20 minutes than the actual time.
Kollam mail uses Platform 1A,PF 1 AND 2 FOR train towards TVC and trains from TVC respectively.
