जनता एक्सप्रेस के सभी आठ डिब्बे सामान्य श्रेणी यानी की अनारक्षित थे. इस कारण इसे वास्तविक मायनों में ‘गरीब रथ’ माना जाता था.
यह गाड़ी आम लोगों को अपनी खास गाड़ी होने का आभास कराती थी. इसे 39 अप और 40 डाउन के नाम से भी जाना जाता था.

जनता एक्सप्रेस पंद्रह सौ किलोमीटर से अधिक के सफ़र में 120 स्टेशनों पर रुका करती थी. • राजमिस्त्री का काम करने वाले फतुहा के अरविंद रजक को चिंता इस बात की थी कि यह एक्सप्रेस ट्रेन सभी छोटे-बड़े स्टेशनों पर रुकती थी और इसके बंद होने से उनके जैसे यात्रियों को परेशानी होगी. सभी तस्वीरें और रिपोर्ट मनीष शांडिल्य ने भेजी हैं.

Got this old timetable from a whatsapp chat today. This shows the timetable of trains of Kolkata Delhi sector in the old days (may be 1950s or 1960s)

Another interesting fact is that poorva via Gaya used to tun via Mzp earlier. If anyone knows then they can put some light on when this train was diverted via BSB and whether 101/102 poorva exp via Patna also had a halt at Mzp or not

These are scans from the 1957 NER timetable. I do not have exact answers for some of your questions, but to the best of my knowledge:
65/67 express trains - One of these two trains was later renumbered as 11/12, more famously known as the Lalquila express, which was discontinued recently.
Halts for the Deluxe (Poorva) - This is just an abstract timetable, not the full one. As I mentioned earlier, this was the NER timetable. So, for the lines from other zones, only the timings at some major stations are shown....

Hope IR restarts 13111 Lalquila as 13131-32 is Indias most pathetic train and no-one can disagree of the fact that 13111-12 Lalquila was a far much better better than KOAA ANVT.
