No extension given. ERS-BNC section ran with occupancy of 105%. BNC-ERS section ran with occupancy of 88% I think........quite surprising that despite Onam season this was not considered for extension. SWR not allowing for extension. Then before that Garib Rath discontinued. Instead of simply changing the boarding station and moving it to SMVT, they suspended bookings and then reintroduced as a new spl with the same rakes with higher fares !!! Something seriously wrong with their approach
Really sad to see the ignorance towards Kerala. :(

Just look at the regular running of this train in both directions... There is a considerable scope to bring down the Running time to 8:30 hrs flat in existing route.
So with a 8 Car VB rake, SR should positively consider running this service with regular no as under :

Yes.. CBE BNC VB can be put on its reverse path as ERS VB will justify only on this TT
For some reason have observed for that for all trains , SWR gives huge slack from KJM till SBC. There has not been a single day when this train has reached KJM at its scheduled time of 21hrs. It has always been between 21.30-21.40 hrs. I guess its impossible to cover SA-KJM within 3 hrs. Heard that 130km/hr trail has been done. Only formal approval is pending. Hopefully all trains with LHB and VB's should save some time when that is done.

May be if they can shift 30 mins of slack to SA - KJM (considering it runs almost 30 -40 mins BT in every run totalling before arrivals at PGT, PTJ, TUP, and ED), then automatically KJM BNC last leg can be brought down by 35-40 odd mins, thereby Total run time will be 8 hrs 35 mins and thats all we wanted for daily run. As such there is no compromise on SA KJM run TT ...3 hrs TT should be fair enough for VB priority trains

From the initial feedback it seems that passengers are relatively ok with the ERS-BNC schedule. With KJM also as a halt, somehow this seems to be ok with passengers.
Its only the reverse TT BNC to ERS where the early departure is slightly a challenge. But I guess with this TT it is impossible to run daily with one single rake.
Having said that ,couple of days back, train from BNC was jampacked probably because of the long holidays. Lots of passengers for SA, PTJ, PGT & beyond and it was also observed...

Please start this Vande Bharat Express Train daily & passengers can easily travel no difficult passengers.
A bit longer via CBE is ok, considering the revenue it can generate.
But the really required move should be to attach entire PTJ POY to SA division, so that many trains can go upto Pollachi. For example, Cheran, LTT CBE, MV Janshatabdi etc. SA Division can plan maintenance facilities at Pollachi.

Sir u sure that orange VB will go to ERS?? Cause that was dedicated to MAQ TVC and if that removed (as in rake shifted), then RFans will be disappointed... and for the TT I'm following ur path (as in going for this TT)... if demand is getting high then they might convert this SPL to VB commercial and run.... let's wait and find out...🤔👍

If new 16C is allotted then it definitely be Orange liveried one...

16C means possible (which is unlikely for this route) sir.... but if converted to commercial run I hope they deliver a new rake for this train.... and for the second question, I think IMO, they might have looked in terms of the houseful occupancy and with that thought of having a VB run from ERS to BNC... let's wait and find out how this is gonna work...🤔🤔
