Instead of Dibrugarh, I would suggest Agartala. Agartala is only connected to Calcutta four days a week. Extending this train upto there will make it atleast five days a week. After all, DBRT is technically connected all days.
Instead of extending to Dbrg, this train should be rather diverted via Bilasipara, Gauripur, Tufanganj section. In this way Tufanganj, Bakshirhat and Dhubri (Gauripur) will get a direct train for Kolkata
