At last WCR completed the new line survey of JBP-Damoh-Panna new line and WCR already sent the survey report to Rail board for approval and now RB officls trying to figure out how much money will be needed to complete the new line JBP-Damoh-Panna so hopefully soon after the fund allocation will be done ground work will start and now Jbp-Damoh travel takes 3+ hrs via KTE-Sagar so if the new line will be built directly to Damoh from JBP it will be taken only one hour to reach...
more... Damoh and the current proposed new line cover a distance of only 70kms wheres existing distance is 200+kms via kte-sagar so the new line will give the following benefits-
1-JBP-Damoh distance will be reduced to 70kms in compare to existing 200+kms via KTE-Sagar
2-JBP-Delhi travel time also reduce by 2 hrs
3-JBP-Panna via Damoh connectivity will be established once project completed
4-Existing Delhi bound trains from JBP can go via new route and will reach delhi in less time compare to existing travel
Now WCR planning to change the timing of Gondvana exp. and may be the current time will be stretched to 5 PM so that passengers can be benefitted and JBP-INDB intercity will also have a new time soon as WCR want to improve this train occupancy by changing the time which will be beneficial for passengers
