JRLE_KOAA_EXP~ 1718 blog posts05611 SCL-KOAA TOD Spl skipped JRLE on 29/05/2023 though there was a schedule 2 min commercial stoppage. There were passenger having PRS tickets from JRLE. When they realised the matter, everyone started panicking.
Upon receiving the complaint on this incident the said train 05611 is kept at PRDG which was around 30km away from JRLE.

Reminds me of an incident recently where a train skipped a scheduled stoppage; then pedalled back one km back to the station.
The Venad Express, in Kerala I think, skipped a halt station and then had to roll back nearly a km. Here's a news link.

The train can further be speeded up by an hour to reach at 1200.it can leave at 1400 and return to Slichar. One rake can be used to run biweekly train.
Yes fully agreed. Too much slack time given in both directions. Almost reaching 30-40 mins before time in most of the major stations.
