the 05219 Clone Express departed Muzaffarpur on time, but was already delayed by the time it reached Hajipur. The Clone arriving from Anand Vihar was also about 5 hours late reaching Muzaffarpur. According to records from the National Train Enquiry System (NTES), the 05219 Muzaffarpur-Anand Vihar Terminal Clone Express has 10 stops between Muzaffarpur and Anand Vihar, but is not on time at any station except Muzaffarpur. Meanwhile, the 05220 Anand Vihar-Muzaffarpur Clone has never departed Anand Vihar on time. On its first day, it was even rescheduled by an hour and a half. The 05219 takes 21 hours to reach Anand Vihar instead of the claimed 16.5 hours, and takes almost 26 hours to reach Muzaffarpur. The operation of other mail and express trains is better than this. The Clone Specials running from Barauni and Darbhanga to New Delhi have also not been running on time. The 02563 Barauni-New Delhi Clone is arriving in New Delhi an average of 6.5 hours late. On the return journey, Muzaffarpur Junction is reaching almost 3 hours late while Barauni is reaching almost 4.75 hours late. The 02563 Barauni-New Delhi Clone Express was held at Muzaffarpur Junction for 44 minutes, causing delays and inconvenience to passengers. The train was later allowed to leave for Hajipur. The Clone Express was already running late, arriving at Muzaffarpur at 10:59 AM instead of 9:30 AM. The Vaishali Superfast was also delayed by 19 minutes. The Raxaul-Howrah 13022 Mithila Express was also held up at the junction for about 17 minutes. The Northeast Railway administration released helpline numbers for major stations immediately after the derailment of the 15904 Chandigarh-Dibrugarh Express. The General Manager of Northeast Railway, S. Mathur, Divisional Railway Manager/Lucknow, Aditya Kumar, and other senior railway officers reached the site and reviewed the rescue efforts. Several trains, including the Gonda-Gorakhpur passenger (05094), Gorakhpur-Gonda passenger (05031), and Gorakhpur-Bahraich-Gorakhpur passenger (05131/05132), were canceled. Several other trains were rerouted, with their routes varying from train to train. The routes were changed to avoid the affected section and ensure the safe passage of passengers.
