ACM ne Amrit Bharat Station project ko phases mein complete karne ki bhi baat kahi, taaki passengers ko dikkat na ho. Is visit mein kai problems samne aayi, jaise PRS counter mein AC ki kami, team sheds ki kami, aur safai ki suvidhaon mein improvement ki zarurat. 13151 Kolkata Jammu Tawi Sialdah Express, 13005 Howrah Amritsar Punjab Mail, 13307 Dhanbad to Firozpur Ganga Sutlej Express, 12203 Saharsa Amritsar Garib Rath Express, and 15651 Guwahati Jammu Tawi Lohit Express. These trains will be diverted via Ambala Cantt, Chandigarh, New Morinda, and Snehwal on May 20th and 21st. The diverted routes for the return journey, including trains like 13152 Jammu Tawi Kolkata Express, 12204 Amritsar Saharsa Garib Rath Express, 13308 Firozpur to Dhanbad Ganga Sutlej Express, 13006 Amritsar Howrah Punjab Mail, and 05656 Guwahati Jammu Tawi Summer Special, will take place on May 21st and 22nd via Snehwal, Chandigarh, and Ambala Cantt. The diversion is temporary and train routes will be restored to normal once the situation in Punjab stabilizes.

Dibrugarh Avadh Assam Express will all depart from Jammu four hours late. The 15036 Kathgodam-Delhi Sampark Kranti and the 25036 Ramnagar Passenger will depart from their respective origins 2.5 hours late. The route of the 12040 New Delhi-Kathgodam Shatabdi has been changed, going through Kathpur and Lal Kuan instead of Rampur. A new 12-meter wide foot overbridge is being built to connect the station booking office and the area across the tracks. The new bridge will include escalators, lifts, and a waiting hall. The station will also have two lifts, one on platform one and another on platform three.
