This has been a long-standing demand of traders, students, patients, workers, and people of Bengali origin in Giridih. Separately, Joshi has also written to the General Manager of East Central Railway requesting a stop for the Asansol-Hatia Express (train number 13513/14) at Salaia. He believes this would increase passenger load, revenue for the railways, and benefit many passengers. Salaia station is near Giridih and would provide easy access for people from the area.

Yeh Giridih ke traders, students, patients, workers, aur Bangla origin ke logon ki bahut purani demand hai. Alag se, Joshi ne East Central Railway ke General Manager ko bhi letter likha hai, jisme unhone Asansol-Hatia Express (train number 13513/14) ke Salaia me stop karne ka request kiya hai. Unka maanana hai ki yeh passenger load aur railway ke revenue me badot karega aur bahut se passengers ko fayda hoga. I have heard from many people in CRJ, They say Bidhan express used to depart from CRJ. Some say that was about to get extended but never happened in reality. A bus from CRJ also leaves early morning popularly known as Bidhan to ASN for ppl who'll take Agniveena.
JSME region has no connectivity to HWH in morning. Lack of EMU/ MEMU trains as well. I have missed 12340 many a times since 03562 got late. There's a desperate req of train to HWH from JSME/MDP.

The 13513 Asansol-Hatia Express will commence on Thursday, departing from Asansol at 4:10 AM and reaching Hatia at 2:00 PM. The train will run five days a week, excluding Tuesdays and Fridays. The train will stop at Chittaranjan, Jamtara, Madhupur, Maheshmunda, New Giridih, Jamua, Dhanwar, Navadih, Maheshpur, Koderma, Barhi, Hazaribagh Town, Barkakana, Mesra, Tatisilwai, and Ranchi in both directions. Meanwhile, the police in Deoghar have found the body of an unidentified 65-year-old man near the railway tracks at Deoghar station. The cause of death is suspected to be natural, and the police are awaiting post-mortem results to confirm.

It will depart from Hatia at 3:00 PM and arrive at Asansol at 11:40 PM. The change in timings was requested due to the previous schedule proving inconvenient for passengers. The train was initially launched on September 12, 2023, from New Giridih station and recently extended to Madhupur.
