On September 3 and 4, several trains in Visakhapatnam have been cancelled due to a lack of rakes. The New Delhi-Visakhapatnam–AP Express (20806) leaving New Delhi on September 3 will run via Nagpur-Raipur-Titlagarh-Rayagada-Vizianagaram instead of the usual Balharsha-Warangal-Vijayawada-Duvvada route. The Visakhapatnam-Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Express (18519) leaving Visakhapatnam on September 3 will run via Guntur-Nalgonda–Pagidipalli instead of Khammam-Warangal-Kazipet. The CST Mumbai-Bhubaneswar Konark Express (11019) leaving CST Mumbai on September 2 and 3 will run via Pagidipalli-Nalgonda-Guntur instead of Kazipet-Warangal-Khammam. The Bhubaneswar-CST Mumbai Konark Express (11020) leaving Bhubaneswar on September 3 will run via Guntur-Nalgonda-Pagidipalli instead of Khammam-Warangal-Kazipet. The Shalimar-Hyderabad East Coast Express (18045) leaving Shalimar on September 3 will run via Guntur-Nalgonda–Pagidipalli instead of Khammam-Warangal–Kazipet. Passengers are advised to take note of these changes and plan their travel accordingly.

20806 New Delhi-Visakhapatnam A.P. Express, which left New Delhi on August 31st, is running on a diverted route via Napur, Raipur, Titlagarh, Rayagada, and Vizianagaram. Train no. 20805 Visakhapatnam-New Delhi A.P. express, departing Visakhapatnam on September 1st, will also run on a diverted route. Train no. 18520 LTT-Visakhapatnam express, scheduled to leave LTT on September 3rd, is cancelled due to a lack of a rake. Godavari and Garib Rath express trains, departing Hyderabad and Secunderabad on September 1st, have also been cancelled.

Train no. 20805 Visakhapatnam-New Delhi A.P. express, jo 1st September ko Visakhapatnam se jaa rahi hai, bhi diverted route pe chalegi. Train no. 18520 LTT-Visakhapatnam express, jo 3rd September ko LTT se jaane wali thi, rake na hone ki wajah se cancel ho gayi hai. Shatabdi having over 130 vacant seats in CC class and over 10 in EC class. The Vande Bharat Express from RKMP to Hazrat Nizamuddin has 660 vacant seats in CC class and 30 in EC class. Other trains, such as the Rewanchal Express and the Gondwana Superfast Express, have waiting lists for sleeper and 3rd AC classes. The Gondwana Superfast Express is canceled before Raksha Bandhan. Several trains to Mumbai also have waiting lists for sleeper and 3rd AC classes. Trains to Nagpur on August 17th also have waiting lists, with some even showing no available seats.
