(12588) arrived in Bareilly nine hours late, while the Delhi-Lucknow Double Decker Express (12584) was delayed by four hours. The Rajdhani Express (20506) was delayed by one hour. Other trains like the Garib Rath Express (12204), Ayodhya Express (14206), Shramjeevi Express (12392), Padmavat Express (14208), Malda Town Express (14004), Suheldev Express (22420), Lucknow Mail (12232), Amritsar-Howrah Express (13006), Kashi Vishwanath Express (15128), Himgiri Express (14524), Ganga-Satluj Express (13308), Kolkata Express (13152), and Janata Express (15120) also delayed passengers. Due to the disruption, many passengers spent the night at the station. Thirteen trains bound for Lucknow via Bareilly were diverted due to the derailment. The Chief Commercial Inspector, Rakesh Singh, confirmed that train services on the Delhi-Lucknow route have returned to normal.

This caused inconvenience to the passengers. Due to rain in Uttarakhand, train number 15074 Tanakpur-Singrauli Express, which passes through Lucknow, was cancelled on Monday. In addition, 20 other trains on different routes were also cancelled.
