Many passengers are stranded at Ambala Cantt railway station, waiting for hours for their trains, with some even opting to cancel their journeys or travel to Delhi for alternative train options. The protests at Shambhu railway station, entering their 15th day, have disrupted the operation of 119 trains, leading to the cancellation of 67 trains and rerouting of 42. Kuchh main delays mein train number 12413 Ajmer-Jammu Tawi (47 hours), 12414 Jammu Tawi-Ajmer Express (27 hours), 12716 Sachkhand Express (15.30 hours), 15098 Amarnath Express (15 hours), aur kai aur trains hain jinhe 10 hours se zyada delay ho raha hai. Dusre trains, jaise ki Vande Bharat Express, 20 minutes se leke 4 hours tak ki choti delay se jaanchu hain.

The Ambala-Ludhiana rail section was closed, disrupting train services throughout the day. The railways diverted trains originating from Punjab, canceled some passenger trains in the Ambala division, but redirected trains passing through Moradabad. Trains affected included the Jaynagar-Amritsar Shaheed Express (14649), Jansadharan (14617), Durgiana Express (12357), Amritsar-New Jalpaiguri (04652), Shri Mata Vaishno Devi-Kamakhya (15656), Jallianwala Bagh (18104), Amritsar-Saharsa (14604), and Jammu Tawi-Sealdah Humsafar (22318). These trains were delayed by several hours due to rerouting. Other trains were stopped en route, and the Ambala-Sanehwal route remained closed.
