Ten trains are being diverted, including the Silchar-Thiruvananthapuram Aronai Express, the Dibrugarh-Kanniyakumari Vivek Express, the Silchar-Coimbatore Express, the Kanniyakumari-Dibrugarh Vivek Express, the New Tinsukia-SMVT Bengaluru Express, the Guwahati-SMVT Bengaluru Express, the SMVT Bengaluru-Guwahati Express, the SMVT Bengaluru-Bhagalpur Anga Express, the SMVT Bengaluru-Jasidih Express, and the Muzaffarpur-SMVT Bengaluru Express. The diverted trains will run via Asansol, Adra, Midnapore, Hijli, Bhadrakh instead of Bhatta Nagar and Bhadrakh. In Tiruchchirappalli Division, changes to train services include short terminations of the Ernakulam – Karaikal Express and origin change for the Karaikal – Ernakulam Express due to commissioning work at Karaikal Yard. Northern Railway has also announced cancellations of the Yog Nagari Rishikesh – Kochuveli Superfast Express and the Kochuveli - Yognagari Rishikesh Superfast Express due to engineering works in the Roorkee – Deoband section.
