Numerous special trains operating on the Asansol-Kiul-Patna-Howrah line were canceled, while the routes of others were modified. Passengers faced significant inconvenience as a result. The railway had announced the 13-hour power and traffic block in advance. Specifically, the following trains were canceled: 03681/03682 Asansol-Jasidih-Asansol Passenger, 03538/03539 Jasidih-Andal-Jasidih Passenger Special, 03769/03770 Jasidih-Jhajha-Jasidih MEMU Special, 03573/03574 Jasidih-Kiul-Jasidih Passenger Special, 03233/03234 Deoghar-Jhajha-Deoghar MEMU Passenger Special, 03675/03676 Asansol-Jhajha-Asansol Passenger, 03581/03582 Jasidih-Banka-Jasidih DEMU Special, 03677 Asansol-Jasidih Passenger, 03571 Jasidih-Mokama MEMU Special, 02023/02024 Howrah-Patna-Howrah Superfast Special Express, 13029/13030 Howrah-Mokama-Howrah Express.
