It is bio toilets, which are fitted underneath the lavatories. The human waste discharged into them is acted upon by a particular kind of bacteria that converts human waste into non-corrosive neutral water.
But to my surprise there was no water in the my boogie on 1 side. so people had to use only 2 toilets and 1 washbasin in the morning. there were passengers coming from next boogie also to use toilets . this is very very bad expirence.

SmartAleck 10 blog postsFor those travelling from Bengaluru ( Bangalore ) to Mangaluru ( Mangalore ) in AC class, it makes sense that you book your tickets on 16517 as the AC coach of 16517 AB1 ( It's a combination of 3-tier and 2 tier AC ) is nearer from the second entrance as compared to the AC coach of 16523. Similarly those travelling in Sleeper Coach, I would suggest you book your berths in ES4 as that's the closest, in case it's not available in the said coach the order of the preferred coaches would be ES3, ES2 & ES1.
The 2A coach (A1) provided in the rake today (31/07/2014) seems to be of 1980s make...!

so does it mean attendant provides pillow bed sheet of ac coaches to sleeper people thereby making money ??
may be or may nt be, but i've seen attendant roaming with pillow and blanket when ever i've travelled in this train.
