My suggestion is that even if its 100 WL in Sleeper, book it, you may even be upgraded to 3A as was my case. The train, especially 3A and 2A are mostly vacant and SL is used by local unreserved passengers especially from UBL to YPR. Elsewhere it's mostly vacant. I travelled from Dadar but I think it would work from other places as well as one of my co passenger boarded at DVG to YPR in Sleeper class and he had a waiting list of RLWL 29 in SL just before chart preperation but it got confirmed after the preperation of chart. You can also check the PNR of this train on 8 March where passengers traveling from Dadar to Tiruvannamalai got upgraded to 3A from SL ( Entry# 4250797 ). Hope this helps you.

This train reach 30min before Yeshvantpur so passanger get total 1Hour at Yeshvantpur station. Just outside station there is nice restaurant which will give you full meal for 60Rs and its very nice.

The breakfast on the train is good but you may take breakfast from the station at Ghatprabha at 8.00 am.
The lunch served is not good and you may eat lunch at Hubli instead from the platform at 12.30pm.
For evening meals you may eat at Arsikere as the veg Refreshment room is good opp the AC coaches at 18.05. The food at Tiptur (time - 18.36 ) is also good - idli dosa.

Book a ticket from YPR towards puduchery or anywhere in between and just sit back and relax ...ticket will confirm in any class...provides excellent night time connectivity to tamil nadu from bangalore ....dont waste your money in getting tatkal tickets ...
