In response to past confusions with Train/Station updates and resulting fights and controversies, the following clear and objective guidelines are being issued, with no room for any arguments or debates about validity. Also, included, some other changes with respect to Ratings.
1. All Red Ratings will require further explanation. Red Ratings won't be anonymous anymore. For Green Ratings, you will continue to have the option of giving specific ratings with your name on it or remain anonymous.

As announced previously, there are a few changes coming to IRI user accounts, based on past practices.
1. As before, you will be able to quickly DELETE your IRI User account at ANY time. However, the menu option for this was hidden in the profile page, and could not easily be located. Now the menu option for Deleting accounts will be made more prominent, to make it easy for users to quickly delete their IRI account whenever they want. When you delete your account, ALL your blogs are anonymized and your profile...

tried this. not happening for my brother. His account 226565 is linked with aishirkarjuna@gmail.com. But he can't login using his email & Iri password
See my brother is facing login issues, even after changing his password for his user id aishikarjuna@gmail.com
The email you specified is against another IRI account (IRI), not 226565. If he wishes to login to 226565, which is linked to FB, he needs to add a new email/pwd to that account, and thereafter he will be able to login.
When you try to login to an FB-linked account, the system will automatically give you an option to add a new email/pwd to that account.
Thanks.

Ooh, this helped me restore this account of mine that had remained dormant for some time. Hello after nearly a year.

A new feature will be released soon, whereby you can follow blogs tagged with specific Trains & Stations. If you have already posted blogs tagged with some Train/Station, then you will be set to automatically follow that Train/Station. Thereafter, any future news/blogs tagged with those Trains/Stations will be marked to your Attn. This filtered blog list may be more useful to those members.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Thanks for this feature.
Can you please expand this feature to follow blogs of particular member as well? -- a very long pending demand

These days, every other day, we are getting requests from members to allow email login to their FB-based IRI account. 10 years ago, we had given the option for users to login through FaceBook - in retrospect, this was a mistake. These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because of their myriad problems, and so wish to simply use their email to login to IRI. As such, it is a major headache for us, to cater to these requests one by one.
Very soon, for every FB-based IRI account, members...

I use my FB account to login IRI. I don't have any other email address apart from my Central Government work email. Do I need 2 create a new email address now? Central Government work email is confidential, hence can't use it elsewhere
okay from when for every FB-based IRI account, members will automatically get a prompt to convert their account to an email-based account start to be implemented ? Both member #1906262 & member #226565 is asking
This is coming soon. Sorry for the delay. It is NOT compulsory to use email/password; it is just an insurance in case your FB account stops working (for whatever reason, like app getting banned and other controversies).
Thanks.
Thanks.
I had my email address registered in IRI for login as Member #1155207, which was active from Nov 23 2014. But I had deleted that account on Mar 18 2015. So can I link the email address registered in IRI for login as Member #1155207 for my IRI current account as Member #226565 which is now being logged in by me using my FB Account.
There are some changes coming to FMT. Many of the features of FMT, like station arrival, TT, speed, geo, passing times, station time, etc. are ALREADY available in OTHER railway apps. So all of these features will be REMOVED.
We'll have ONLY BLOGGING - quick upload of pics/videos/audio, etc. You may attach passing time etc. screenshots from other apps. For example, to show the speed, you may attach a screenshot from some speedometer app. To show passing time, you may attach screenshot from NTES or other apps.

Thanks for your concern. Hindi has become very informal (as seen in movies, TV serials, web-series) in the past 10 years. Such informal language is allowed in IRI. We only look at intent, and whether there is a personal attack on someone's character, etc. Otherwise, it's fine.
Thanks.
Thanks.
