Clearly Karnataka and Rajasthan are laggards....and look as blips in mainland...off-course it overlooks NFR region...\
But it also reflects traffic density and in turn population in these areas, as these regions are sparsely populated ones///However, things have taken turn for better since few years due to new ports in Gujarat, for which electrification of lines connecting N India and Gujarat thro Raj need urgent doubling cum electrification..

Our section the feeder route for EDFC , the Rajpura-Patiala-Dhuri-Lehra Mohabat is now due for electrification this year. Work is about to commence here.
Electrification in Rajasthan is going at good speed. Will miss the concor double decker then. Karnataka, I suppose it is the lack of participation from state government.
