Pollachi-Palakkad section was recently opened for passenger traffic aftr gauge conversion and at present PGTN-POY-PLNI section are inadequate in infrastructure and yet to be developed. Re introduction of trains will be examined keeping in view operational feasibility and requirement

What more infrastructure is required to operate these trains?.........Earlier they used to operate with much lesser infrastructure so quite surprised at this standard answer.
