Which could be a better & practical route for compansating Indore Bhopal double decker project failure.

I doubt any over night journey in relatively uncomfortable ac DD chair car (as compared to normal accc) will be successful. Such sleepless and spine breaking long overnight journeys shall be a physical as well as mental torture for the passengers.
Why run ac DDCC train at night when even the daytime ACDD trains are mostly failures? It would be better to replace ac chaircars of the crowded full length shatabdies like NDLS-LKO, NDLS-ASR, NDLS-HBJ etc along with the LHBfied (as acDDccs are not Self generating) ones among a large number of highly patronised chaircar trains like Karnavati, Gomati, Brindavan, Lalbagh, Shan-e-punjab, Pinakini, Vaigai etc with the idle ac Double decker coaches to carry more passengers and increase the much needed...

There is already an jbp indr overnight exp departing jbp at 11 pm which has quite ok patronage.If need be 3a coaches can be increased in that train to reach full length of 24. only problem is it's loose TT which should be tightened.

No other pair of cities in MP has inter city traffic anywhere near the existing traffic between INDB-BPL. In present setup INDB-BPL acDD is a failure inspite of a good traffic between the two cities mainly due to more railway distance of about 225km (via Maksi-Dewas Chord), abt. 265km (via UJN) as compared to about road distance of abt. 180km, more time taken by the acDD express and more fare.
Even the HBJ/BPL-IND DD could be successful if following are done:

But there had been no official communication from IRly regarding any development activities going on for ac dd sleeper coaches. I had earlier advocted need for R&D in AC DD (ACIItier) coaches with pricing much lower than the normal ACII tier coaches. There can be low cost ac DD cabins akin to ACI, which may be very popular in trains going to tourist places. This is need of the hour especially keeping in view the strong intention of IRlys to operate SHS trains in a big way in near future.
Many exciting possibilities are there, but IRlys have to make up their mind to go after such innovative thoughts.
