All the trains from Madurai to Coimbatore have to be passed through Madurai ,Palakkad ( Kerala based ) and Salem divisions of SR .
Pollachi to Kinathukkadsvu small stretch have to be either attached to the Madurai division or the Salem division from the Palakkad division for seamless operation of passenger trains and goods train services .
