what does lower berth means??
is it available for every1??
or do v need any particular certificate for booking the ticket in that quota??

Agreed that no seperate quota-wise WL.
But definitely a priority in case of cancellation happening in that quota.

For detailed note on Lower Berth Quota (called SS quota) ... Plz refer to blog post # 28130 & 30264 .
It is because ladies above 45 arent senior citizens. Only after completing 60 they becoem senior citizens
lower bearth quota can be used in three conditions
1. Senior citizen (Male)
2. Women (age from 45 and above)
3. Pregnent Women ( At the booking time , They have to show a valid medical certificate about pregnancy )
