If travelling for end 2 end in Chair car coaches ,than stay ready for a Back pain, Some reason are As these seats are not flexible i.e. without pushback .like Those of LHB coaches ..also the seating arrangement is having 3❌3 seats with very less space in corridor compared to other ICF (2S) coaches ..
where there is ample of space and luggage🛄 can be kept either on luggage Rack or below the seat .💺.(Pic attached).
But in Garibrath big size luggage like Bag🎒 and suitcase will not come below the seat...

bhai what more do you want??...do you want RO water, coffee machine, food ample space , AC, Bedsheets and other facilities in 1000 INR ?? There is a price for everything. It is meant for realtively poor people to have somewhat better experience at a slightly more price than sleeper fare. The amount of facilities in GR are more than sufficient with the current pricing. If you do not like it then use Rajdhani /Duronto...pay more if you need more.
Giving AC is at cheaper rates is definitely a goodwill gesture towards those who can not afford higher classes. But does it empower govt to 'exploit' the comforts?
In India there is is proverb that "When cow becomes toothless, they are donated'
Here govt would have at least provided comfortable sitting. and Garibs are not asking for all those luxuries you have enumerated.

Railway is not playing with anyone's comforts. When there is a increase in fare, everyone shouts on govt as if they did a blunder. What everyone wants is the fare between Mumbai Delhi should be 1000 rs and they should get the feeling of bullet train. That is impossible.
