SER should invest in upgrading signalling system of some sections in the division for easier handling. CKP and KGP have automatic signalling in their major sections.

How does it top in punctuality when most of its trains run late eveeyday.may be lesser no of trains.no train be it prr mdn pgr,ckp hwh pgr,purulia exp,rupashi bangla,n the list goes on and on.still 1st prize
Overall percentage doesn't depend upon some specific trains or a place. It is the overall punctuality percentage of a Division (Zonal basis) and on a specific time period (date mentioned). And even if it is showing good percentage with an average delay of 10/15 or even 30 minutes, it means the other trains over other divisions of IR were running with more delay, on that specific time period, simple.
Nowadays SWR is becoming NCR of South India in terms of maintaining punctuality
