Mangaloru Junction Mumbai CSMT daily expresses have to be extended to Bengaloru city via Hassan and Arisikere ,since tilldate no trains are operated from Mumbai to Bengaloru via entire konkan route even though Karnataka contributes maximum share in Konkan Railways.
No konkan additional trains are possible due to single non electrified Konkan track,so requested to extend the existing trains to Bengaloru.
Moreover ,Mumbai CSMT Madgoan Konkan Kanya daily expresses have to be extended to Bengaloru via Londa and Hubbali. So as interior Karnataka state gets two additional trains...

Its a good news that one more train is to connect "Coastal Belt to Mainland", however overall time taken is too high [16/17 hrs] , avg speed will be around 65 kmph i guess. Anyways still a welcome move.
